THIS APPLIES TO THE AUGUST RACE AT YAKIMA SPEEDWAY ONLY

The Nu-tread tires will not be allowed for racing at Yakima Speedway.
This is a safety concern. We tested a set of our series tires and in the long run they did not hold up at this track.
You may practice on nu-treads if you like Just keep an eye in them.
Ours ran hot 200+ deg. after about 30 laps on a 60 deg. day.
I don't know why for sure, Ron Bennett told us exactly what was going to happen before we took the track, he was right. So, Safety First........

The Solution we came up with is this;

You will be able to buy series tires for this race at the Wenatchee Race, 5-24-07 from WVSO. You may also buy them at any time, Just contact Michelle at WVSO - (509)-668-0371
The tires are "Hoosier 20 series", and cost $35.00 each
We will stamp them for $10.00 ea. That's $180.00 a set.
You must Qualify and race all points events on the Hoosier Tires at this event.
